We use surveys to find out what our users think of our products, or to screen users for later in-depth interviews. In either case, creating a survey that is easy to read and gives you the answers you want is not easy. Dirk Janssen (formerly a researcher in Cognitive Science) talks about some common pitfalls and some tips and tricks to get great surveys.
