Forcing a virtual machine to power off in VMware Fusion – In this video you will see a demonstration of the process which is required for forcing a virtual machine to power off in VMware Fusion.

This process maybe required if one of your virtual machines is not responding during the regular shut down process, if you are unable to power off a virtual machine which is running or if you have a virtual machine which is not responding.

Warning: When you perform a hard power off, this has the same effect as switching off the power switch on a physical computer. Only do this if it is absolutely necessary as it may cause data loss or file system corruption.
