Hitachi Universal Replicator: Journal Groups and Paths

View this short video to learn about journal groups and replication path components of Hitachi Universal Replicator (HUR). Journal groups play a key role in the replication of data between the primary storage system and secondary storage system. To replicate data, HUR uses bidirectional logical paths using Fibre Channel or iSCSI links. One important property of HUR is that in the event of link failure, the pairs will remain in PAIR state until the journal volumes are full.
