In Brownfield deployments the VMware vSphere Storage Appliance or VSA is used to create VSA clusters on existing ESXi hosts that have running virtual machines on their local datastores. In order to successfully deploy and configure a VSA cluster in a brownfield environment with zero or minimal down-time, certain configurations (as shown in this video) must be applied before starting the deployment.
