Internet of Things (IoT) HackDay at AWS re:Invent 2014

In this video, Jinesh Varia discusses the first-ever Internet of Things (IoT) HackDay at AWS re:invent 2014!
At the IoT HackDay at AWS reinvent, we are partnered with Intel and Spark IO. They provided their latest cutting-edge microcontrollers and boards (brand new Intel Edison and SparkCore) to hackers so they can build a simple cloud-connected IoT device – The Connected Maraca – a device that sends data to Amazon Kinesis, Amazon Cognito, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon SNS, Amazon S3 when shaken. They can see all the data that they are sending on a dashboard which is up on the big screen at all times. Later, with the help from Sensor Bar and AWS IoT Ninjas, they compete for the big prize to build their dream machine.
