In this series of videos, we will show how to protect Microsoft SQL Server databases using Hitachi Data Instance Director. We will demonstrate the triggering of a Thin Image snapshot and Shadow Image clone (storage-based protection), mounting to an alternate host (storage-based repurposing), and reverting (storage-based restore). We will also demonstrate backing up SQL (host-based protection) and restoring SQL (host-based restore).
